How to add a string on windows Vista for all types of USB modem.

Click on "start" and click on "control panel" as you see in the image.

On the left of the screen there is a link to change the view to "classic view". once done look for device manager like you see in the image above.

you will find all you hardware drivers here. look out for modems and click on the "+" to expand it. choose the modem you will like to use by double clicking on it or right click and click on properties.

this is the view of the property window of your modem. click on the "Advance" tab as you see in the image above.

under advance in the Extra initialization command box as you see in the image above add your string. AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","accesspoint" here the "accesspoint" is apn or access you need to connect to the internet with your internet service provider.
NOTE: if your not sure of the accesspoint name contact your internet service provider for details.
